Plot Summary: When Bond investigates mysterious activities in the world diamond market, he discovers that the evil Ernst Blofeld (Charles Gray) is stockpiling the precious gems to use in a deadly laser satellite capable of destroying massive targets on land, sea and air. Bond, with the help of beautiful smuggler Tiffany Case (Jill St. John), sets out to stop the madman, but first he must grapple with a host of enemies. He confronts offbeat assassins Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd, as well as Bambi and Thumper--two scantily-clad beauties who are more than a match for Bond in hand-to-hand combat! Finally, there's the reclusive billionaire Willard Whyte (Jimmy Dean), who may just hold a vital clue to Blofeld's whereabouts.

one of relaxed films of Bond

I this DVD watch with trepidation, as I either really like them or absolutely hate them. Diamonds are Forever falls in the former category although I'm not totally sure why. It's like after the serious action-packed 60's they decided to just calm down and relax, this is the most chilled out and mellow Bond film there is. My friend have downloaded it too, respond was nice.

Film is interesting

"Diamonds Are Forever"
The sequential unworthy representative of human race again constructs plans with respect to the enslavement of free peace. The large diamond, which is intended to use in the super-power orbital laser gun, is the cornerstone of these plans. And, as always, on the way of villain becomes J. Bond - fearless superspy of the reconnaissance of its majesty. What vexation... Film is interesting first of all fact that for the first time after long interruption Bond's role again was reached to brilliant Schoen Konneri.

Sean Connery did a swell job in his final apperance as agent 007. Bond is seeking revenge upon the death of his wife Tracy by tracking down Ernst Stavro Blofeld. In order to keep Bond occupyed, Blofeld uses like forms of himself to fool 007 but, 007 is no fool. The kidnapped Willard White is kept hostage in his own home so Blofeld can have the worlds diamond industry to himself.
