The decadent life of novelist Catherine Trammell (Sharon Stone) continues int his sequel that finds her in the opening sequence speeding through the streets of London using the hand of her obviously under-the-influence soccer star boy friend to masturbate herself. After the car goes out of control, she manages to escape but he drowns leading to an investigation of whether she had in fact murdered him with an implication that he was already dead before the car even entered the water. Officials bring in a police psychologist (David Morrissey) to determine her mental state. Obsession sets in and the psychiatrist is drawn into her manipulations and dangerous world. As deaths occur around the pair involving acquaintances of both parties, including the psychiatrist's ex-wife, the story twists (and doesn't answer) to make you wonder who is committing the crimes. David Thewlis also co-stars as a perhaps corrupt police inspector and Charlotte Rampling appears as a colleague of the psychiatrist. Contains frequent nudity, depiction of orgies and graphic sexual encounters, constant profanity and violence that is mostly committed off-camera. |

The fact of the surveys of the continuations of successful cinema- brands can be surrounded as conveniently, but for some reason always remains steady sensation, that gentlemen producers simply want to earn money on the yet not forgotten, but qualitative product. Successful sikvel - case is rare, is almost unique. Examples can be recounted on the fingers that (alas!) it does not stop businessmen from the cinema. The idea of continuation of one of the best erotic thrillers of the 90th loomed at the horizon as early as 1998. Sheron Stone, thus far loudly stated that with the frank scenes tied forever, unexpectedly it decided to return to the means of writer Ketrin Of treymll. Mario Of kassar and Andrews Vine rapidly calculated possible profits, and to project was given green light. After the stroke previous by actress it seemed that sikvel so will remain the undisposed dream. But desire and patience of the authors, in the final analysis, brought the long ago expected result - film it leaves on the screens. In the producer armchair the talented Scotsman Of maykl Ke1ton- Jones ("the life of this fellow", "jackal"), in the role of the new victim of the insidious Of treymll the Englishman of David morrisi, and, certainly, Sheron Stone by its own persona.
