| Plot Summary: |
In February, 2001, Robert Hanssen, a senior agent with 25 years in the FBI, is arrested for spying. Jump back two months: Eric O'Neill, a computer specialist who wants to be made an agent is assigned to clerk for Hanssen and to write down everything Hanssen does. O'Neill's told it's an investigation of Hanssen's sexual habits. Within weeks, the crusty Hanssen, a devout Catholic, has warmed to O'Neill, who grows to respect Hanssen. O'Neill's wife resents Hanssen's intrusiveness; the personal and professional stakes get higher. How they catch Hanssen and why he spies become the film's story. This means that the espionage passions around the state secrets of two countries will as before incandesce, and films about the traitors, who trade in the secrets of the native land, will remain immediate even for a long time. One of such films - film is treason (Breach) from the director the bills Of reya. In it there is no skirmishes or sharply twisted subject. Entire idea of film turns around the psychological means of one person - Robert khenssen's agent, whom they suspect of the treachery. And, it is necessary to say that its role is played in the motion picture simply lustrously. Small likable boy Erik o'Nil looks helplessly and doltish against the background Of khenssena, and his family problems are dull and transparent.
