The film, scenario to which wrote the hatchway Of besson, tells the history Of denni (Dzhet whether), entire life of that conducted in the slavish subordination in its owner (bean Of khoskins). It was deprived of formation, of simple vital happiness, only, what it knew how to make to the perfection - to fight. Owner forced it to participate in illegal combat, where Denni he were considered one of the best soldiers. it once for it succeeds to run out from its masters - its only friend becomes the blind adjuster of piano (Morgan Freeman), who helps Denni to open the new sense of life...
